The Facilitator's Way
Learning organisations need effective group tools to align people and to share knowledge. Our Facilitation training is an effective and inspiring way to acquire and develop new people tools.
Module 1: Essential Facilitation, 2 days
Is your work about having multiple meetings and workshops? Are they efficient? This training introduces group tools designed to support global, connected and complex environments. During the first day we cover the role of the facilitator, how to communicate with a group and basic group tools. During the second day we introduce more advanced group tools and explain their business applications.
Competences gained:
- Preparing the group, finding energy and focus
- How to create effective participation and dialogue within a group
- Workshop skills; having the basic tools and knowledge to plan and facilitate workshops related to problem solving, change and strategy implementation, strategy development and group/process development
Module 2: Advanded Facilitation Training, 2 days
This workshop is designed for project and team leaders who work through workshopping and need group tools that are fresh and effective.
Competences gained:
- Dealing with complex situations
- Facilitating large groups
- “Blacksmith of facilitation”; skills to design more complex workshops and to vary tools
- Dealing with difficult situations
Module 3: Facilitation Masterclass, 1 day
The core of this one day training is sharing and strengthening the knowledge and experiences gained during the previous modules and from real work practice. In addition new methods are introduced.
Competences gained:
- Reviewing and maintaining the progress of a project or action plan
- Staying alive as a facilitator
- Understanding and developing the key competences of a facilitator
Module 4: Introduction to Virtual Facilitation, 1 day
Competences gained
- How to use facilitation competences in a virtual environment
- Understanding and practicing what can be done with the current range of software
Module 5: Facilitating Organisational Development Processes, 2 days
This training is for organizational development and business professionals who want effective processes for both developing the organization and engaging the people. The training is aimed at professionals with experience and knowledge of basic group methods.
Competences gained:
- Ability to facilitate key organisational development processes: Appreciative Inquiry, Future Search, Vision Based Strategy and Creative Problem Solving
- Designing your own development processes
