Coaching for High Performance

Structured Support for Individual Development

We are often asked, 'what is coaching?' Basically, it is a process of structured support for individual development in defined areas of performance. These areas may be quite diverse: personal style, development of particular skills, behavioural changes etc.

Many techniques can be used, for example NLP and concepts taken from the 'Inner Game'. We often use an emotional intelligence profiling to help, as well as reflection and other supporting tools for analysis.

Coaching Program and Techniques

Generally a coaching programme would involve six or seven 90 minute sessions with a coach. We build on the needs and goals of the coachee. Coaching is a very individual process, no two people are the same. Before any coaching process we have to ensure the synergy between coach and coachee is absolutely in sync. We do this by an initial meeting, for both people, to determine the mutual dynamics before going into any coaching programme. Typically, the first session would involve goal setting, objectives and milestones to measure progres and development.

Coaching is personal and personalised, so please feel free to contact Iain and Pavla, if you are interested for further and deeper knowledge.
