Values Processes

    Organizational values are the codified words and language that expresses what is important to a business' culture. Values are the guiding principles that people use to make almost every decision (business or personal). The bottom line is that organizational values aren't just nice words, they're irrevocably tied to corporate success. By building values into the corporate strategy up front, we are simultaneously building ethical guidelines into business processes and everyday operations.

    Grape Values Workshops begin with defining core values in a discovery session or they can begin by helping to integrate the corporate values into ways of working by holding values cafes to crystallise and  plan how to cascade the values

    Stage 1 Discovering core values

    Values are sometimes difficult to surface and discuss. We use effective and discreet ways , for example  visualisation tools and reflection tools  are used to collect values which are importnat to individuals in their life and their work. ( Grape Arte Services can also be used as a part of Values Workshop ).

    Stage 2 Crystallising the values

    A Values Café is a dialogue in which collective intelligence grows and evolves and innovative possibilities for action occur. The knowledge and wisdom that the group needs are already present and can be made accessible through structured dialogue and sharing processes. In such a process, we can gain an understanding of what the values mean to our team, asses whether our actions today are consistent with our values, we can agree on concrete "do's" and "don'ts" to encourage the Team to live the values and put together ways to follow up on agreed "do's" and "don'ts". So our Values Cafes are a simple guide to organize a meaningful discussion about the new values with a large group trying to answer 'What do our values mean?' and 'How could we make them more visible and alive in our work?'

    Stage 3 Communicating the values

    Grape helps you design a process to cascade the values sharing and understanding throughout the organisation. We also help you to action this cascade either through facilitating values workshops, co-facilitating or by teaching your own staff to facilitate these sessions
